Writer,

Advocate,

Whole Systems Thinker.

Jacqueline Ozawa Sussman is a Seattle-based writer and content strategist whose efforts reside at the intersection of content design and climate solutions.

She was born in Boston and raised in Portland, Oregon, where she first connected to the diverse and powerful landscapes of the Pacific Northwest, the region where she feels the greatest sense of place.

Jac currently works as a freelance content strategist and senior copywriter, helping organizations to engage purposefully with human-centered content and achieve their communications goals.

Infusing the concepts and whole systems framework from her background in sustainability, she has collaborated with partners in the fields of sustainability, carbon offsets, SaaS, green-tech, regenerative agriculture, and renewable energy, among several others.

Jacqueline has a BA in Environmental Analysis and Policy from Boston University, a MSc in Environmental Studies from the University of Montana, and a professional certificate in Storytelling & Content Strategy from the University of Washington. Her education forever continues, as she is one to always be seeking out new skills to develop and add to her kit.

She is particularly inspired by the potential of community-centered agriculture to bolster local economies, regenerate soil health, increase food security, and empower those who are disproportionately impacted by structural inequities and climate change.

To restore her mind and spirit, you can find Jacqueline trail running, hiking, biking, kayaking, camping, farming, reading, and cooking around the mountains and waters of Washington state.
